Description

Until now, golf fitness professionals had limited options when it came to conducting movement assessments for golfers.
You either relied on traditional, subjective assessments or attended costly workshops that only covered one method of evaluating movement. Not anymore.

The KAMS Golf Certification Course introduces an innovative, objective approach to golf movement screening, leveraging motion capture technology to analyze and enhance golfer performance. This course provides a comprehensive understanding of biomechanical principles, swing characteristics, and assessment techniques that help professionals identify limitations, improve movement efficiency, and reduce injury risks.

Evidence-based chapters in this course explore key topics such as the kinematic sequence of the golf swing, corrective exercise programming, and movement-based assessment protocols tailored specifically for golfers. You will gain hands-on experience using Kinetisense technology to conduct data-driven movement screens, track player progress, and customize exercise interventions to improve mobility, stability, and power.

The KAMS Golf Certification is an evidence-informed course designed to transform the way professionals assess and train golfers. It moves beyond traditional golf fitness programs, shifting the focus from generic training to a more personalized, movement-based approach. Instead of outdated assessment models that rely on subjective observation, this course introduces an objective, data-driven framework that optimizes golf performance by analyzing movement, not just symptoms.

KAMS Golf is taught by industry-leading experts in biomechanics, movement analysis, and sports performance. CEUs may be available for chiropractors, physiotherapists, strength coaches, personal trainers, and other movement professionals. If your profession is not currently eligible, self-submission to your governing body may be an option.

    Learning Objectives

By the end of this course, participants will be able to:

Understand the biomechanical principles of the golf swing

    - Explain the key movement patterns required for an efficient and powerful swing.
    - Identify how mobility, stability, and sequencing affect golf performance.

    Conduct objective, data-driven movement assessments

    - Operate Kinetisense motion capture technology to perform golf-specific movement screens.
    - Analyze assessment results to identify mobility restrictions, movement inefficiencies, and compensations affecting swing mechanics.

    Assess and correct swing characteristics

    - Interpret common swing faults such as over-the-top movements, reverse spine angles, and improper weight shifts.
    - Utilize screening data to design effective corrective exercise programs for golfers.

Develop and implement customized golf fitness programs

    - Apply evidence-based training methods to improve power, flexibility, and movement efficiency.
    - Structure individualized exercise progressions that address each golfer’s unique movement profile.

Utilize motion capture technology to track performance improvements

    - Integrate real-time biomechanical feedback into training sessions.
    - Objectively measure and monitor client progress over time to enhance swing efficiency and injury prevention.

Communicate assessment findings and training recommendations

    - Effectively present movement screen results to golfers, coaches, and healthcare professionals.
    - Use visual reporting and data-driven insights to build client engagement and retention.
